Decision to liquidate the investment mortgage company Moldvinipoteca
The government has decided to liquidate the investment mortgage company Moldvinipoteca. The company was created for implementation of the projects on planting new vineyards.
However, due to the global financial crisis and the shortage of funds, Agro-Industrial Agency “Moldova-Vin” offered to liquidate company Moldvinipoteca.
According to “Moldova-Vin”, in 2008-2009, 118 mortgage contracts were concluded. The amount of the requested investment is 246 million lei. In 2008, 770 hectares of vineyards by 55 recipients of the mortgage loans were planted.
