Arcadia
Arcadia (Moldova x Cardinal). Arcadia is synonymous to Nastea.
It is a variety with a very early period of ripening (115-125 days).
It has a medium or vigorous growth. The grapes may be big or very big: 500-700 gr. They have a round-conic shape with two wings, they are dense, sometimes dispersed.
The grains may be large or very large (28×23 mm), their original shape is oval (egg-like), white. The taste is simple, pleasant; crisp pulp.
The variety is prone to overload with fruit, which imposes standardizing the blossom on the vine and removing the weakly developed twigs, because they grow poorly and the grapes are smaller In the conditions of thinning out the twigs, of enough illuminating the foliar apparatus, of a good care, the grapes of the Arcadia variety are likely to reach 2 kg, or 12-14 g each round grape.
It has a high transportability.
Based on the qualitative variety, Arcadia falls among the 10 most valuable varieties of table varieties.
